World Teachers Day observed

SUKKUR: Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) Khairpur arranged a function to mark World Teachers Day at its Allama I.I Kazi Hall on Wednesday here.

According to a statement the event was attended by the chairmen of different department’s faculty members and university students.

Speaking at the event the Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Parveen Shah said that “secret to progress of any country lies in the quality of education whereas teachers play a dynamic role in producing quality students that guarantee a bright future.”

In Shikarpur, teacher organizations held functions at schools and colleges to observe the day. On the occasion parents and students paid tributes to the teachers for their precious services for the betterment of the society.

Teachers were also given certificates and best teacher awards.
