KARACHI: In an attempt to provide national hockey players some financial relief, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has contacted various departments to provide jobs to the players who have donned Pakistan’s colors at different levels.

According to a PHF spokesman, some of the departments have already agreed to provide jobs to the hockey players.

The federation has now asked the players to submit their CVs so that it can refer them to the national departments who have agreed to hire the hockey players.

“Jobless players, who fall in the age bracket of 18-27 and have attended some national camp, senior or junior, have already been asked to submit their applications to the PHF,” said the PHF spokesman.

The PHF has asked interested players to send in their application no later than October 20.

“The federation plans to present the complete bio data of the interested players to the departments,” the spokesman added.
