ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday said that that some people want to shed blood on October 30, but they will not let that happen.

The Speaker National Assembly was speaking to media in Lahore where he said “Imran Khan is going to London to fetch a lock to shut down Islamabad,” adding that “a conspiracy was cooked up earlier in London as well”.

Ayaz Sadiq said on the subject of Indian aggression that the entire parliament is united except for one party.

He said that lack of participation from PTI members in joint session of parliament was disappointing.

Sadiq said that he wished boycotting members had attended the session, adding that he does not want parliamentarians to be ‘de-seated’ over lack of participation.

Sadia said that he is the elected Speaker of the house and not acknowledging him is synonymous to denying Pakistan’s Constitution.

The National Assembly Speaker mocked PTI’s ally Sheikh Rasheed saying that a certain member of the assembly has gotten tired of giving dates.

He advised the politician to now ‘give a date for his marriage’.

PTI chairman Imran Khan had boycotted the joint parliamentary session on Wednesday despite criticism from senior politicians and parliamentarians.

Earlier today, sources confided to Geo News that the PTI chairman has decided to shut down Islamabad at the end of this month.
