KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court could not charge anyone nominated in a case regarding medical treatment to terrorists as Dr Asim Hussain was unable to appear in the court due to ‘ill health’.
The court rejected bail plea of Pakistan People’s Party leader Abdul Qadir Patel and adjourned the hearing till November 5.
Dr Asim, Qadir Patel and other political leaders are being tried for assisting terrorists in getting treatment at the Ziauddin Hospital.
Dr Asim in the last few court appearances has been complaining of ill health and sometimes arrives walking with the aid of a stick.
