ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party leader and former minister for interior Senator Rehman Malik called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and handed over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s letter to him over draft of political jirga.
Later, talking to media men here, Rehman Malik said the government will respond to the PTI’s letter within three days. He was optimistic that the matter was moving towards its logical end.
Malik said the government has appreciated the role of political jirga. He said the jirga members will meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after return of Sirajul Haq from Saudi Arabia.
PPP leader said, “the entire nation should be on the same page at the time of formation of judicial commission on poll rigging.”
