ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan made a blunder on Thursday despite consulting his lawyer before a media talk at the Supreme Court.
In a video available with Geo News one can see him speaking to his lawyer after a Supreme Court hearing over five petitions regarding the Panama Leaks against the Prime Minister. "What has happened in the case? Can I say that they court should hold the hearing every day for the sake of national interest?" he asks Hamid Khan.
"Not yet. When the larger bench sit then. Wait for 14 days," his lawyer tells him.
"What should I tell journalists," Imran asks.
"Prime Minister has been summoned," Shah Mehmood Qureshi quips in.
"Are you satisfied," someone asks him.
"Very satisfied," Imran says his face breaking into a smile.
When he finally spoke to the media Imran Khan stumbled and changed a notice being served to the Prime Minister to a summon. "The Prime Minister has been summoned," the PTI chief said.
"The basis of democracy is Magna Carta-- a law which was passed which said that the law was above the king. This is the first time in Pakistan's history the 'king' has been told that the law is above him. We welcome the decision," he said.
He later tweeted a similar statement.
2/2. Now our wannabe monarch Sharif will have to appear before SC for accountability - as he should in a democracy.

The Prime Minister has been sent a notice, which means that his lawyer will represent him in the court. He has not been summoned.
