PESHAWAR: Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif on Thursday inaugurated a cadet college in Spinkai, South Waziristan, the ISPR said.

The Army Chief is on a visit to South Waziristan, where he also gave an address following the inauguration.

In his speech, Gen Raheel Sharif said that the country’s future can be secured only by educated and determined youth.

He said that it was necessary to fortify capabilities of the youth, adding that their capabilities will help deal with challenges.

“The whole world acknowledges our role in fight against terrorism,” he said.

The Army chief said that countries want to learn from our experience of fighting terrorism.

Pakistan Army will continue to cooperate with locals till completion of the restoration process, said the Army Chief.
