If replied to Imran then others will take benefit of situation: Khursheed Shah

LAHORE: Opposition leader Khursheed Shah on Wednesday said that he has faced accusations in the past but nothing has been proved against him.

He was talking to media in Hyderabad where he was asked about Imran Khan calling him “Double Shah”. He responded that he is the leader of the Opposition and a responsible person and he would not say anything harsh about anyone.

Khurhseed Shah said that even Imran has faced a lot of accusations several times.

He urged both Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and government that protest should not turn to violence.

Earlier, taking aim at Khursheed Shah, the PTI chief called the Opposition leader ‘Double Shah’ and said there were cases against Khursheed Shah in NAB which is why he would not say anything against the institution.

PM Nawaz Sharif and Khursheed Shah together appointed the NAB chief, Imran accused, adding that such incidents were destroying the country’s character.

Aitzaz Ahsan advises Imran to rein in his fieriness

Pakistan People’s Party leader Aitzaz Ahsan asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan to use a soft tone while giving addresses.

He asked Imran Khan to refrain from criticising Opposition parties.

This is not the right time to speak against Opposition leaders, he added.
