ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief, Sheikh Rasheed said on Tuesday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan should have come to Lal Haveli on October 28.

Rasheed speaking to journalists outside the Supreme Court said there are no complaints in a revolution and along with his workers he would go to Bani Gala.

“I will go out on November 2, just like I went out on October 28. I urge people to reach Bani Gala,” the AML chief said.

In response to Sheikh Rasheed, the PTI chief while speaking to journalists in Bani Gala said “captain moves according to his strategy.”

On October 28, Sheikh Rasheed intended to hold a rally outside his Lal Haveli residence in Rawalpindi. The AML chief failed to reach Lal Haveli as roads had been blocked with containers. The AML chief however made it to Committee Chowk were clashes had taken place between protestors and police. During his address, Rasheed dared the government to arrest him.

Musharraf's dictatorship was better than Nawaz Sharif's governance

Later during the day, Rasheed said that General (Retd) Pervez Musharaf's rule was better than present rulers. He said that if any crime was proven against the former dictator, Musharraf would leave politics the same day.

"I want to get rid of Nawaz Sharif at any cost," he said adding that the fact that he was supporting the military meant that he was not taking sides of Indian spy agency RAW.
