ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak on Wednesday said that PTI chief Imran Khan has not taken any u-turn and today’s celebratory rally marks his victory.
CM KP Pervaiz Khattak was talking to Geo News and said that the party convoy under him was ‘brutally treated’ in Swabi.
While responding to a question, he said that he never said that ‘Punjabis’ attacked them, adding that he has a lot of Punjabi friends.
“I said that Shehbaz Sharif attacked us” he said.
The CM KP said that Imran Khan did not take a u-turn in holding this celebratory rally. Pervaiz Khattak in his talk called PTI rally a ‘farce’.
“This farce is a testimony that Imran has gained a victory,” he commented.
PTI Chief, workers and supporters have arrived at the Parade Ground for the party's celebratory rally today in Islamabad.
The rally is being held after PTI postponed its November 2 planned ‘lockdown’ of Islamabad. PTI chairman Imran Khan has claimed that one million people will attend the rally.
