DAHARKI: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday addressed a public gathering in Daharki and criticised the government’s performance against terrorism in the country.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the government has forgotten the Quetta tragedy after a few days.

“What’s the government doing except for photo sessions?” said Bilawal.

“Modi is conspiring but PM is silent,” he said, adding that Pakistan is facing alienation in the world because of the PM.

The PPP Chairperson lamented that our security forces personnel are being killed and gave Quetta’s example that first the attack took place on lawyers then on security forces.

Bilawal said that if the Panama bill proposed by Aitzaz Ahsan is not approved then judicial commission will not be able to function.

Bilawal said that if the commission under the apex court failed to properly investigate then the government will face dire consequences.

“For saving democracy lion should be sacrificed,” said Bilawal, adding “lion was spared in 2014 while saving democracy”.

The PPP chairperson reiterated demand for appointment of a Foreign Minister.

Earlier, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto gave a warning to the government and said if Nawaz Sharif did not implement the four demands put forward by him, there would be general elections in 2017.

“The government can only stay till 2018 if our demands are met,” Bilawal said.

Bilawal calls Imran Khan his ‘chacha’

“Uncle Imran enough is enough, public has tolerated a lot,” Bilawal said during his speech.

“If you talk about minus one then we will demand the same,” said Bilawal referring to Imran Khan’s earlier suggestion to PPP that Asif Ali Zardari should leave the party.

Bilawal made a jibe towards Imran asking him how much ‘former ISI chief General (rtd) Pasha had helped him in the past’.

Following Bilawal’s address, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Imran Ismail heavily criticised Bilawal Bhutto and his party.

“PPP is deeply involved in corruption,” said Imran Ismail.

He said that Zardari does not come to Pakistan because he will be arrested immediately upon his arrival.

“If they could not trace the killers of Benazir in their tenure then what else they are capable of?” he said.

Meanwhile PML-N leader Talal Chaudhary said that PTI and PPP were trying hard to compete against PML-N. However, both are failing.

He said that even if both join forces, they are not in a position to compete against the ruling party.
