Dark comedy ‘Jeevan Hathi’ premieres in Karachi

The star-studded event of the eagerly awaited Pakistani film ‘Jeevan Hathi’ was held at a local multiplex last night.

A dark comedy Jeevan Hathi is the latest venture by director duo Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi of ‘Zinda Bhaag’ fame.

Starring Hina Dilpazeer, Samiya Mumtaz, Saifi Hassan, Adnan Jaffar and Naseeruddin Shah with Kiran Tabeer and Fawad Khan, the cast in this film Gaur claims will be appreciated for playing unusual roles, unlike the stereotyped ones. 

Co-director Nabi said their job is done and the rest is now up to the audience.

 At the red carpet to promote the film, Hina Dilpazeer and Adnan Jaffer also shared their experience and excitement about acting in the film.

Jeevan Hathi follows the life of a middle-class couple on the brink of divorce when its suddenly hurled into a TV game show.

After world festival run and a star-studded red carpet premiere in Karachi, Jeewan Hathi has been released across Pakistan on Friday November 4th.
