Blast suspends rail service in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A powerful blast has been reported at Tando Jam Railways track near Detha near Hyderabad, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to Geo News correspondent, the blast caused damage to the down railway track, affecting the train service to Karachi.

The train service has been suspended owing to repair work at railway track.

Personnel of police and Bomb Disposal Squad have arrived on the blast site. Zakaria Express has been stopped a little way from the blast site.

According to police sources, no casualties were reported in the blast.

It should be mentioned here that two blasts yesterday damaged the portion of rail track that lies between Kotri and Hyderabad.
