QUETTA: An inquiry commission on the Civil Hospital attack resumed hearing on Saturday at the Supreme Court registry.
A suicide bombing at the Quetta Civil Hospital in August left over 70 people dead and 112 injured.
The commission expressed its displeasure over absence of a reply on the arrest of the mastermind of the attack.
The Prime Minister, his spokesman and the Police IG are all telling different stories, Justice Faez Esa said.
Justice Esa said he had the inkling that efforts to sabotage the commission were being made. “Statements are made and then retracted spreading confusion,” he said.
He asked why had the chief minister not shown up for the hearing. “Till the chief minister gives a statement confusion will remain. Ask the police IG about the chief minister’s whereabouts,” Justice Faez said.
