LAHORE: Government College of Science’s Professor Rao Altaf was fatally shot by ‘unknown assailants’ on Tuesday, Geo News reported.
According to police officials, Professor Rao Altaf was heading to the college from his house when unknown persons shot at him in Lahore’s Wahdat Colony.
The professor succumbed to his wounds shortly after, police said.
According to CCTV video available to Geo News, two men riding on a motorcycle can be seen pursing the professor’s car at 8:05 AM. The motorcyclists first block the path of the car and then the attacker riding passenger opens fire. Following the attack, the video shows both attackers fleeing the scene.
