Pakistan responds to unprovoked Indian fire at LoC

AZAD KASHMIR: Indian troops resorted to unprovoked heavy shelling at various places of Bhimber sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday, according to ISPR.

The ISPR said that Pakistani troops are responding to Indian firing and effectively targeting their positions.

Heavy exchange of fire is taking place, according to the ISPR. 

On Wednesday, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif asked Indian military to tell its casualties, saying that Pakistan Army killed 11 Indian troops in return for its seven martyrs.

He said that a total of 45 Indian soldiers have been killed at LoC.

Seven Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom after Indian forces carried out unprovoked firing at the LoC (Bhimber sector) late Sunday night.
