NAB arrests two Sindh government officials

KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday has apprehended two public officials on the charges of corruption.   

According to Geo News, the accountability department nabbed provincial Chief Planning Officer and Deputy Director Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training on the alleged corruption of Rs 210 million.

In August, NAB arrested eight employees of the Sindh Irrigation Department in Dadu allegedly involved in embezzlement worth Rs 120 million, said a NAB spokesman.

The arrested employees included Executive Engineer Abdul Ghani, Ghulam Sarwar, Habibullah Kaburo, Ghulam Nabi Lond, Assistant Engineer Abdul Sattar Khoso, Manzoor Ahmed Solangi, Sub-engineer Ali Asghar Jamali and Nazar Hussain.
