Huge cache of ammunition recovered from house in Gadap Town

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Wednesday recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition from a house during a raid in Gadap Town area of the metropolis.

The weapons, found hidden at secret places in the house, were likely to be used by an active militant wing, the authorities said.

The arms and ammunition were kept in the house for use in target-killings and other incidents of lawlessness in the city, they added.

The recovered ammunition include an LMG, a 7mm and 8 mm gun, two SMGs, a 9mm pistol, three 30 bore baby SMGs, three 12 bore repeaters, three TT pistols, one 32 bore revolver and 1,650 rounds of SMGs, 350 rounds of 8mm, 50 rounds of 12 bore, 50 rounds of 30 bore and 17 magazines.
