KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has decided to contest by-elections, most likely from NA-204 or NA-207 constituency, sources revealed on Thursday.
According to sources, PPP chairman Bilawal has decided to contest from native seat in Larkana for National Assembly. Bilawal will formally announce his entry into parliamentary politics at the party’s upcoming Foundation Day celebrations, sources said.
The decision regarding Asif Ali Zardari’s return into Pakistan will also be taken on the Foundation Day, Nov 30.
Party leader Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood also offered Bilawal to contest from his native seat in Rahim Yar Khan.
Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday said that he has not been in exile and will be back to Pakistan in a few weeks. The former president was talking to Hamid Mir in Geo News show ‘Capital Talk’.
