COAS pays farewell calls to PM, President

ISLAMABAD: The Army Chief General Raheel Sharif paid farewell visits to President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday.

The Army Chief met President Mamnoon Hussain at the President House where the president praised him for his services to the nation.

General Raheel Sharif said that while delivering his duties he received the support and guidance of the president for which he is thankful.

General Raheel Sharif paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House.

The PM praised General Raheel Sharif for his valuable services rendered as army chief and extended his best wishes for his post retirement life and happiness for his family.

The Army Chief also visited HQ Dte General ISI. On arrival at headquarters, He was received by DG ISI Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar.

COAS paid rich tributes to the sacrifices and successes of officers and men of ISI in fighting terrorism and strengthening defence of the motherland.
