Bilawal says NAP converted into 'Noon-league Plan'

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appealed Punjab to rise up as Pakistan is burning as National Action Plan (NAP) was converted into ‘Noon-league Plan’ and failed to achieve the agreed targets.

Addressing PPP workers at Bilawal House Lahore to week-long celebrations in connection with party’s 49th Foundation Day ceremonies coinciding with Sindhi Culture Day, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asked Jiyalas to offer Fateha for NAP, which was foiled by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar.

PPP chairman said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s son has brought changes in Sindh and also bringing changes in the party as well.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that everything is changed when Bhutto jumps into the battlefield and reiterated that Takhat-e-Raiwind has been put on notice there will be Dama Dam Mast Qalandar after December 27 and there will be “Go Nawaz Go” from every roof and street in the country.

He said that entire country was burning and Punjab has to rise-up and play its historic role to save the country.

He congratulated the people of Sindh on Sindhi Cultural Day and earlier Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was described by the speakers as Indus valley civilisation’s son. Several cultural and folk art music troupes performed on the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and other Sufi saints of Sindh.

On the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari performed the cake-cutting ceremony on the stage together with Chief Minister, Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, PPP Sindh office-bearers Nisar Khuhro, Waqar Mehdi, Senator Aajiz Dhamrah, Senator Saeed Ghani, Political Secretary to the Chairman Jameel Soomro and others.

 Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah, former Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, CEC Members Nawab Yousuf Talur, Mir Aijaz Jakhrani, Senators, MNAs, MPAs and former office-bearers also attended the PPP Sindh workers conference.
