A rare glimpse of Kaaba’s interior

Not only Muslims but people in general must have always wondered what the interior of Kaaba looks like. In some rare pictures, the interior section appears to be quite a sight.

The ceiling of the Kaaba is held by three wooden columns, which happen to be 1,350 years and dark brown in colour.

A pillar passes through those three columns and has Kaaba’s gifts suspending from it.

The inside walls of Kaaba contain eight stones with Arabic calligraphy engraved on them. The words are made of precious and colourful pieces of marble and were written after the sixth century AH. The floor of Kaaba is also made of marble.
