Junaid Jamshed’s body may be handed over to relatives till Tuesday

KARACHI: The body of Junaid Jamshed is expected to be received within two days, said brother of the famous singer-turned-preacher, Humayun Jamshed.

Humayun Jamshed was talking to Geo News. He said that he is trying to find a suitable place to hold funeral prayers of Junaid Jamshed.

Humayun said that he came to the National Stadium to assess whether funeral prayers could be held there or not.

Junaid had countless admirers, he said. Trying to find a bigger venue so whoever wants to attend Junaid’s funeral can come, Humayun Jamshed added.

Earlier today, investigators found computerised national identity cards (CNICs) of Junaid Jamshed and his wife, who died in the deadly PK-661 crash near Havelian among belongings of other victims.

Along with CNICs, the investigators also found the handbag of late Junaid Jamshed's wife from the site of deadly plane crash. The hand bag contained two pictures of Jamshed and some other documents, which remained safe.
