QUETTA: Robbers looted millions of rupees from a private bank on Hali Road.

Police said that evidence suggested that the robbery took place on Sunday night, adding that they suspect that the security guard was involved.

Robbers broke into the foreign currency locker, and much of the currency is missing, police said.

Meanwhile bank officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that about Rs 80 million had been looted.

Investigation into the robbery is underway.
