KARACHI: The two suspects of Amjad Sabri's murder among several high-profile cases on Friday confessed to having committed heinous acts of terrorism before a judicial magistrate in Karachi.
The suspects - Asim alias Capri and Ishaq alias Bobby - admitted to have assassinated renowned Qawwali singer Amjad Sabri in Karachi's Liaquatabad area.
Along with Amjad Sabri, they also admitted killing Pakistan Army and Rangers personnel in separate attacks in Karachi's Saddar and Korangi areas respectively.
Earlier, Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah had announced the arrest of Ishaq 'Bobby' and Asim 'Capri' from the Liaqatabad area of Karachi.
The hardcore hitmen were arrested by CTD in-charge Raja Umer Khitab and were involved in nine high-profile cases.
Among the high-profile cases, the duo is accused in October 30 attack on a Majlis in Nazimabad, attack on two Army personnel near Saddar parking plaza.
They are also accused of killing four Rangers personnel in Korangi in November 2015.
