Seven killed, eight injured in road accident in Chaghi

CHAGHI: At least seven people were killed and eight injured on Saturday when a speeding bus collided with a trawler.
The bus was enroute to Taftan from Quetta at the N-40 National Highway when the accident occurred.
Rescue teams took time to reach the accident site situated at a far-off area.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Dalbandin where they were given first aid before being transferred to a Quetta hospital.
After the accident the bus caught fire, which was later doused by rescue services.
Levies forces in the area have begun an initial investigation into the incident.
