KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court remanded Muttahida Qaumi Movement parliamentarian Kamran Farooq for two days in police custody.
Cases have been filed against Kamran Farooq for possessing hand grenade, illegal weapons and stealing motorbikes.
Speaking to Geo News, Farooq said that he had been accused for facilitating the May 12, 2007 massacre.
Meanwhile, sources in the Rangers said that Farooq had admitted to committing 40 target killings, including members of the defunct People’s Aman Committee and Sunni Tehreek. They added that he had made startling revelations about May 12, 2007 and extortion.
