RAWALPINDI/RIYADH: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Saturday arrived in Saudi Arabia on a three-day visit to the kingdom, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Upon his arrival in Riyadh, General Bajwa was accorded a warm welcome by the kingdom's Assistant Defence Minister Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Ayish, the ISPR said in a statement.
The Pakistan army chief, during his visit, will hold meetings with senior civil and military leaders of Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a long history of bilateral ties, with both its leadership as well as the people bonded closely to each other.
The two brotherly states enjoy cordial ties in almost every domain.
