ISLAMABAD: Commotion once again marred National Assembly session on Monday as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi urged the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to attend the sessions and answer opposition’s questions.
The uproar started when the Speaker gave the mic to PML-N member Daniyal Aziz. The opposition members started chanted anti-government slogans and stood on their seats.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi of PTI urged the Prime Minister to attend the session to answer the questions raised by the opposition.
“Either PM himself present clarification or some responsible person from the government side respond”, Qureshi said.
On this, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that he too was waiting for PTI chairman Imran Khan to attend a session.
Daniyal Aziz said that when PM attends the session, the PTI members walk out of the National Assembly.
