ASF foils bid to smuggle heroin to UAE

ISLAMABAD: Airport Security Force (ASF) on Monday seized 1 kg of heroin from a passenger at Benazir Bhutto International Airport.
The passenger was scheduled to fly on a private airline flight to Ras al-Khaimah in UAE, ASF officials said.
The heroin was found hidden in the passenger’s bag during scanning at the ASF counter. He was detained for further investigation following the discovery.
