Explosion targetted security forces’ vehicle: rescue sources

PESHAWAR: At least nine people, including three security personnel and six passers-by, were injured in a blast in Naguman area on Charsadda Road in Peshawar on Tuesday morning, according to Rescue 1122 officials.

The rescue officials said the explosive device targetted the vehicle of security forces.

Seven of the injured persons, including two police personnel and five passers-by, were taken to Lady Reading Hospital where the doctors stated their condition to be out of danger. Two of the remaining injured persons were administered first aid on the spot.
