Six schoolchildren, van driver die in accident in Layyah

9 others injured; van collided with truck due to fog

LAYYAH: Six schoolchildren and a van driver were killed when the van and a truck collided in Fatehpur area of Layyah on Friday, rescue sources informed.

Nine other children were injured in the accident. The van was carrying at least 15 children en route to a private school.

The visibility level was low due to fog in the area, which led to the accident.
