Children's rights rally held in Multan

MULTAN: Scores of workers from civil society and children here on Saturday staged walk to sensitize people about the rights of children on the eve of Universal Children's Day.

The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans about children's rights.

National coordinator Coalition Against Child Labour (CACL) Shahid Mehmood Ansari while addressing the participants urged society to pay special focus on kids in order to refine their capabilities in magnificent way. He said proper attention on children could lead to progress and prosperity of the country.

He stressed upon the people to adopt loving attitude towards children and discourage violence against them as violence could harm their personality.

Aurangzeb Baloch, Syed Mohammad Ali Rizvi, Aziz Ahmed Khan and others were also present on the occasion.
