Gas management; Faisalabad industries remain closed on 2nd day

FAISALABAD: Gas supply to industrial units of Faisalabad remained suspended on second consecutive day on Sunday, Geo News reported.

Gas supply was halted due to gas load management. Owing to gas suspension the industries particularly textile industry is facing severe financial crisis because prior to this gas supply to these units also remained suspended for three days due to Eid holidays.

Closure of industries has not only created financial crisis for industrialists but also for daily wages employees.

On the other hand industrialists have rejected gas management plan. Office-bearers of All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association and Value Added Textile Forum have expressed their concern saying that gas supply is halted to the industries for first 20 days of November as a result production of export material is badly affected. They further said that this has caused billions of loss to industries.
