Squash legend Jahangir Khan bats for Peshawar Zalmi

DUBAI: Squash legend Jahangir Khan on Friday advised Peshawar Zalmi to play the game with a positive mindset.
Speaking to geo.tv, outside the stadium, Khan said: “winning and losing are part of the game but a sportsman should learn from their successes and losses.
“A sportsman should give the best of his abilities and talent on field”
Khan added that Zalmi squad has a balanced side, with a fine combination of senior and junior players.
Khan, who is also a brand ambassador of Peshawar Zalmi said that he has been interacting with the Peshawar Zalmi squad and team management from quite a long time and he was scheduled to participate in the last PSL as well but due to certain reasons, he couldn’t.
He commended the efforts of Peshawar Zalmi owner, Javed Afridi in the field of sports in the Peshawar region.
“In the last years we have seen that sports is promoted in the Peshawar region, hence an immense number of talented sportsmen appeared from the area,” he said. “Youth involvement in sports is certainly a good sign for Pakistan.”
