BRUSSELS: Rashid Kassim, the most wanted terrorist in Europe and a French national, has been killed in a drone attack by coalition forces in Iraq.

The strike was conducted near Mosul, the "capital" of Daesh (Islamic State) terror group in Iraq.

Kassim was in-charge of recruitment for Daesh from Europe, particularly from France and Belgium.

He was mastermind of Verviers (town in Belgium) Film incident in which son of a local mosque Imam called death to Christians.

Kassim indoctrinated two French youths, who later killed a priest inside a Northern France church, He was also in contact with the killer of a French police couple.

French and European intelligence agencies had designated Rashid Kassim as most dangerous terrorist of Europe.
