Quetta Gladiators skipper Sarfraz Ahmed confident about facing Peshawar Zalmi

DUBAI: Quetta Gladiators Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed affirmed that his team is confident about playing the first playoff against Peshawar Zalmi today.

Speaking to geo.tv, the now-designated Pakistan captain for T20i and ODIs, Sarfraz expressed that, overall the tournament has been very tough for every single team participating in the Pakistan Super League. He further added that although his team has as many as two chances to qualify for the final, however he would prefer to seal the position in their match against Zalmi.

“Our boys are putting their all efforts in batting, bowling and fielding. They are pretty well gelled together,” he said, “though we lost two games but our morale is high as we have not lost in any one-sided match. We took the matches to last over.”
