Man kills 3 including father, commits suicide in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A man allegedly killed his father, sister-in-law and minor nephew, and then committed suicide on Wednesday, in Fazal Town area.

Police said that all four people were killed due to bullet wounds.

The deceased have been identified as Shahzaib, Zeeshan, Saifullah and Salma. A five-year-old was also injured in the incident and has been transferred to the Benazir Hospital.

Police said that the 35-year-old killed his family and then shot himself dead over a family dispute. A pistol was recovered near the accused person’s body, police added.

DSP Farhan Aslam told Geo News that the accused was unemployed and often quarreled with his family over money.

His grieving brother said he fails to understand what has happened. “My brother was an educated man.”

Further details of the murder cannot be revealed until forensic reports come out.
