KARACHI: The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) has finalised its arrangements for the long-awaited sixth population census. According to the details, the census team will comprise one civil servant (enumerator) and one army personnel, while both of them will be provided security cover by regional security apparatus such as police and rangers.
The census will start simultaneously in all the provinces and one enumerator will cover two blocks.
The enumerator will spend 14 days in each block, for which three days will be assigned for filing of Form A (House Listing Operation). In this form, area name, building serial number, building type, household serial number, head of the family’s name, CNIC and economic activities of the household are listed.
The next 10 days will be assigned for the filing of form 2.
