British media conglomerate BBC on Tuesday disclosed its latest additions to its curated list of Presidential Daughters around the world, which now has Maryam Nawaz and Ivanka Trump included among other authoritative figures.

On the website, BBC said that Maryam Nawaz "played a prominent role in managing her father's successful re-election campaign in 2013, [and] now works for his party, the right-wing Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz)."

The 43-year-old lady has risen to power rapidly, making a name for herself "as someone powerful, if not a designated political heir to her father," the media outlet's Urdu correspondent Asif Farooqi said.

On the other hand, Ivanka Trump has taken up the role of her father's right-hand man of sorts, as she is present in most crucial meetings in the US' top office.

In this regard, "Ivanka Trump has cemented her status as one of the most powerful women in the Donald Trump administration," BBC mentioned, considering how recently she secured an office in the White House.
