PM’s visit to provinces shouldn’t be politicised: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD: State minister for information Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the prime minister in his capacity will keep visiting every province and no one has the right to politicise the matter.

The minister said this while addressing a conference held by Pakistan Safe Schools Initiative under the auspices of the National Disaster Management Authority Pakistan (NDMA).   

Aurangzeb empasised on the importance of prime minister’s visit to all provinces, saying that politics and performance in this day and age go hand in hand.

“The prime minister will ensure completion of the projects which the provinces weren’t able to, during his visits to all provinces,” the minister said.

Giving the example of Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, she said that chief ministers of other provinces should also carry out development work as seen in Punjab.
