Five bodies found in Indus River near Attock

ATTOCK: A rower on Tuesday found five bodies floating in Indus River, some 25 kilometers from Attock city.

The elderly man said that two of the bodies were stuffed in gunny bags and were recovered from the river with the help of locals.

Sub-inspector Saddar Police Station, Attock also reached the scene on being informed by locals.

The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico legal formalities.

Four bodies were decomposed beyond recognition while one of the deceased was identified by his family as Hamza Majid, a resident of Nowshera district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
