Failing to find a wife, disheartened engineer marries self-built robot

Have you ever faced rejection from the opposite gender and felt lonely?

Well, this engineer went through the same but he had a perfect solution for it.

After facing constant rejection, Zheng Jiajia took the surprising approach and built himself a robot wife and married her.

Yes. That happened for real!

Zheng Jiajia, who is an engineer specialising in AI, had all the skills to design and program his partner to his exacting specifications.

Jiajig built a ‘female’ robot which he named Yingying.

Jiajig built the robot at the end of 2016 and just a few months later they tied the knot, in a ceremony which was attended by His mother and friends.

Jiajig’s robotic wife, Yingying weighs 30kg and is able to speak a few simple words.

Mrs. Zheng can also identify Chinese characters.

But, disappointingly for Zheng, she is lacking in domestic skills as she is not yet able to walk.

However, her husband is planning to upgrade her to do housework at a later date as they slowly grow old together.

Let’s wait for the day when Mrs. Zheng will be able to do the domestic chores as well.
