Real power in character, not reign: Chaudhry Nisar

KALLAR SYEDAN: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Friday said that in the past politicians did not let go of power, adding that the real power lies in character, not tenure.

The Interior Minister was addressing a press conference in Kallar Syedan. He said that some people claim that they will make a new Pakistan.

He said that those in power in a province didn’t do anything for it and now they raise the slogan of a new Pakistan.

Nisar said that people need to recognise those who hide behind different political parties.

“These are the same people who were loyal to PML-Q and Musharraf,” he said, critisicing political rivals.

Nisar said that earlier politicians would remain quite over six to seven blasts happening on a regular basis.

The interior minister said that no politician other than Nawaz Sharif took up the issue of electricity.
