ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader Khursheed Shah on Friday said that the Inspector General of Police Ad Khawaja did not fulfill expectations, therefore, was sent back.
The Opposition leader was addressing media in Kharian, where he said that the Pakistan Peoples’ Party saved the parliament during the 2014 protests.
He said that his party supports and strengthens democracy and parliament.
“If the centre did not refrain from interfering in the matters of the provinces then disagreement would continue in and out of the parliament,” he said.
The PPP leader said that Sindh became peaceful because of Army and the provincial government, adding that Nawaz Sharif was nowhere to be seen.
He claimed that the federal government is playing a dangerous game in Sindh.
