Army awaits decision based on justice, merit in Panama Leaks case: ISPR

Director General of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Saturday that the army, like every Pakistani awaits a decision based on justice and merit on Panama leaks case.

Maj Gen Ghafoor tweeted that his reply to a question on the high-profile case during his visit to the UK was reported incomplete and out of context.

Responding to a question regarding the Panama Papers leaks case during a media briefing at the Pakistan High Commission in UK on Wednesday, the ISPR Director General had said that any decision on the case shall be acceptable to everyone, adding that it's up to the independent court to decide.

Maj Gen Ghafoor was briefing the Pakistani media on General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s official visit to the UK.
