KARACHI: Pakistan's central bank said it would sell treasury bills to commercial banks on Thursday in seven-day repo contracts to mop up funds from the money market.
The State Bank of Pakistan did not say how much money it will absorb in the open market operation.
The result of the auction will be announced at 11:00 a.m. (0600 GMT) and settlement will be later in the day.
