LAHORE: Director General Pakistan Rangers Punjab Major General Muhammad Yaqub Khan has said Pakistan Rangers is providing quality education to 14,000 students in 20 schools and colleges besides protecting borders of the motherland.
He was addressing a ceremony after the inauguration of a new block of Life Welfare Society School (for special children) here on Monday.
The DG said that Punjab Rangers had been serving special children for 10 years in Life Welfare Society School and the new building would help staff provide better education to children and increase their capacity.
He said there were many parents who had never come to see their children after leaving them in special education centres. He said parents should send their children with any disability to the special education centre and Punjab Rangers would provide free education and all possible facilities to them.
He said that Punjab Rangers had established a vocational training institute where technical training was provided to students totally free and it had achieved the ISO certificate in a short period of six months.
