MULTAN: The District Coordination Officer (DCO) has hinted for calling army at the most sensitive areas of district to maintain peace during the month of Muharram ul Haram.
While briefing over security arrangements during the month of Muharram-ul-Haram, DCO said he had arranged several meetings with army officials on security issues.
He said the district administration had already pointed out some sensitive areas in Multan, Shujaabad and Jalalpur.
He directed all TMOs to install CCTV cameras with the help of PTCL.
The administrators of different towns and TMOs are bound to buy searchlights, arrange generators and gas lamps as an alternative facility to avoid from loadshedding, he said.
He stated that district administration has banned nine Ulema and Zakreen, besides the entry of twelve religious scholars in the limits of district Multan.
