DIAMER: A person was killed and five others injured after a speeding car fell into a ravine Friday morning.

The passengers were on their way to Chilas when the car got out of control and fell into a ravine.

The injured were taken to DHQ Hospital for treatment, where their condition was said to be critical.

On March 24, three people were killed in a traffic accident when a car skidded into River Panjkora, the police officials had said.

Rescue teams recovered the three bodies from the accident site.

Incidents such as these are common in Pakistan due to rash driving and lack of road safety measures and barriers, especially in remote areas.
